Part of the Heroes Reborn experiment. Marvel turned four of their leading titles, The Avengers, Captain America, Fantastic Four and Iron Man over to creators from Image Comics.
All four titles were started in a new continuity after the corresponding characters were removed from regular continuity by the events of Onslaught. Each of the four titles ran for 13 issues before being brought back into the mainline Marvel Universe with a new #1.
