Before official distribution in the UK of original Superman comic from American in November 1959, one way to get your Superman fix was through Australian reprints which were then made available in the UK, cover priced 6d (Australian issues were cover priced 8d/9d. They tend to be newsprint quality covers while the UK editions tend to have glossy covers).
The first five issues are titled Adventure Comics Starring Superboy. As with Superadventure Comics, from #21 the title was published in the UK by KG Murray (UK) with a 6d cover price initially. The first 20 issues were only available in Australia at the time.
Superboy #1 came out at the same time as the KG Murray (UK)-published Superman #1.
