Dennis the Menace appeared in DC Thomson's magazine/newspaper The Weekly News for 197 issues from #5134 (7/11/53) to #5331 (7/8/57).
Dennis had the top half of the page while The Dandy's Black Bob had the bottom. 184 issues featured a brand new Dennis strip by regular artist Davey Law, 13 were reprints and 12 by another artist.
Advertising flyers appeared in newsagents in the 1950s promoting these Dennis adventures outside The Beano and they have become collectible.
