In the last week of August 2011 DC brought their existing line of titles to an end and replaced them with a line of 52 first issues that takes place in a new post-Flashpoint universe.
This title saw the launch of the new DCU Animal Man.
In common with the other 'new 52' titles, first prints of issue #1 sold out quickly and a 2nd and 3rd printing wasn't far behind.
The title was cancelled after #29 along with other New 52 titles, Batman: The Dark Knight and Talon.
