This was the first series to be launched in 2005 under DC's All Star imprint. All Star series intended to retell the history of major DC Universe characters but each title is set in its own continuity and separate universe outside of normal DC Universe continuity in an attempt to appeal to new and returning readers.
There are Hardcover and Trade paper Back collections of the first nine issues of the series.
